Asus Uncovers Eee Box EB1031 Cedar Trail Nettop

Joining the sleek new lines of nettops in the market is the newly-launched Eee Box EB1031, a mini desktop computer by Asus which is geared for common tasks like browsing and multimedia-playing. Like other nettops, the Asus Eee Box EB1031 is low on power consumption. Hence, with its slim design, it saves much space without compromising on functionality.

This nettop runs on Intel Atom D2700 Cedar Trail, with a clock speed of 2.13 GHz. It also has 4GB of RAM, ensuring the fast processing of commands. Speaking of fast processing, it also supports USB 3.0 so users may plug it into any device which also supports said transmission speed. Built-in also are ports for HDMI, D-sub, flash card as well as a wireless adapter. Lovers of crisp and vibrant images will enjoy its 1080p HD video playback, while those with loads of files will benefit from its 2.5-inch hard drive bay which can have up to 500GB of storage capacity.

The Asus Eee Box EB1031 has a simple interface to which users will find easy to adapt. It is also possible to perform upgrades on the system should the user find that the current one is no longer sufficient. This nettop will be available in the coming March.
