The folks at netbooklive.net managed to get their hands on a pre-release version of Asus ultra-slim netbook-like notebook - the Asus UX30. At first look the UX30 may seem like your ordinary netbook  by virtue of its small and light form factor. But the UX30's 13.3-inch screen, its CULV processor, 2GB RAM, embedded Intel GMA X4500MHD graphic card and 250GB HDD makes a standard small-sized notebook instead.

The final verdict on the Asus X30 seems pretty good with overall performance on the OK scale. It will scored a 3.2 mark on the Vista rating system.  It is also good for playing HD movies and video games. And clearly Asus is prepping the Asus UX30 as a competitor to the MSI X-Slim X320. So, they better come up with a competitive price as well.

Now it's time to read the full review.
