At the ongoing CES, ASUS has successfully stolen  media’s attention not only with the announcement of the Eee PC T91h and Eee PC T101H but moreso by a concept machine – the Eee Keyboard.

Mind you, this is not your ordinary PC keyboard but rather a more innovative one that features full functioning computer parts inside,  a 5-inch screen on the side, a full keyboard, and various connection ports at the back. In short, the Eee PC Keyboard is a practically an Eee PC trapped inside a keyboard’s body.

Sounds fun right? Wait till you get down into the specs of the Eee PC Keyboard:

  • 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB/32GB SSD
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
  • HDMI support
  • USB 2.0 ports, VGA ports, HDMI ports etc.
  • Windows XP Home Edition

We really have no idea what came over the minds of the Asus tech guys, but we, like everyone else who have seen the device at the CES certainly loves the idea/concept.

The Eee Keyboard is expected to be released six months from now. We wonder how much Asus will sell this wonderful device.
