Looks like the previously reported specsĀ of the Asus Eee PC is not true after all. According to Heise Online, Asus Germany has clarified that the 2nd generation Eee PC will be delivered as plan on the second quarter of this year with features demonstrated in CeBIT 2008. Those features do not include a touch-screen interface and GPS.
The article also said that Kevin Lee did not issue any statement that was attributed to him by Digitimes last week.
Nonetheless, all features as announced during the CeBIT 2008 would push through. These features include - 1024 x 600 resolution display, 16GB SSD, and 1GB memory .
