Reacting to “exaggerated reports” that Asus will stop accepting orders for the Eee PC 900, Asus Italy Manager Luca Rossi said that the Eee PC 900 will stay on the market even if its brother the Eee PC 901 is already available. He said that though the 900 and 901 may have similar features and specifications, each of them though fulfill slightly different roles, especially since the 901 has the Atom processor, the 900 weighing less and the 901 having longer battery life.

Rossi also confirmed that the Eee PC 901 will have Bluetooth but it’s price could go as high as $650.

Rossi is also forward to the day when the 900 and 901 would sit side by side each other, further confirming that Asus will still continue selling the Eee PC 900.

Good news or bad news? Or do you even care, especially now that the 1000 is already coming?
