Beam smartbook goes Android

Mobinnova updated the operating system that their new smartbook, the Beam, will be using. The 8.9″ Tegra-powered device will be using Google Android for its system, instead of the previous Windows CE.

Unfortunately, this version won’t have access to the Android Marketplace from the get go. Instead, Mobinnova will be adding some video games to show off its 3D graphics chip, which can also play 1080p HD video.
