Benchmarks for HTC Vertex tablet appear

A few days ago we heard that HTC were working on a new tablet after a quiet patch in the tablet market. We haven’t seen anything tablet sized from HTC since the Flyer and Jetstream. According to benchmark results, HTC’s latest tablet will feature a 10.1 inch display with a 1280×800 resolution. The 10 inch tablet is named the HTC Vertex in the benchmarks but, this is most likely a codename for the tablet and will probably ship under another name when announced.
Other confirmed specifications from the benchmark show us that HTC have opted for a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and the Vertex will be an Android tablet. The model bench-marked was running Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 but, depending on when HTC announce and release the tablet, it could launch with Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean. We can also confirm that the HTC Vertex will feature Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
