BenQ Launches the Joybook Lite U121 Eco Netbook
Posted in: Netbook, tags: joybook lite u121 eco
It looks like the battle of netbooks are now elevated or should I say grown bigger into 11-inches display. BenQ is the latest netbook manufacturer who joined the likes of Acer and Asus in coming out netbooks of such size. Debuting at the ongoing Computex 2009 is the BenQ Joybook Lite U121 Eco.
The BenQ Joybook Lite’s most notable feature is perhaps its ecological label. Aside from being energy efficient, the BenQ Joybook Lite also features recyclable materials – 75% of its mechanical elements, and 70% of its packaging. Design-wise, the Joybook Lite Eco features ocean blue color and arctic white color options.
Other features of this eco-friendly netbook include:
- Intel Atom Z520/Z530 CPU
- 11.6 inch display with native 1366×768 (16:9) resolution
- 500GB HDD, 32GB SSD
- 6-cell battery (8-hour battery life)
- WiFi, optional Bluetooth 2.1
- optional 3.75G HSUPA
- 1.3MP webcam
- built0in 2W speakers
- VoIP
- 2-channel SRS TruSurround HD Technology
The Joybook Lite U121 Eco is slated for release this month in China, Malaysia and Taiwan. Other country hopefully follows.
