Camera launcher app released for Nexus 7

While the majority of us are still waiting for the Google Nexus 7 to be released, a select few have already got their hands on Google’s first tablet. One thing that Nexus owners found however, is that there was no launcher for the tablet’s front facing camera, which is most likely due to the tablet not having a main camera. Fortunately however, Paul O’Brien from MoDaCo has created and published an app on the Google Play Store that launches the camera on the Nexus 7.

The Camera launcher app can be downloaded for free from here. If you’ve got your hands on the tablet already, you may want to download this straight away and for those who are still waiting for their’s to be shipped, you may want to bookmark the app for when your tablet arrives. It has been created so that it doesn’t need any special permissions or root access and can be installed just like any other application from the Google Play Store.
