Catching Up To The Original: Most Powerful iPad Clone Debuts

The hardware clones coming out of China are certainly packing processing power! Zenitech recently unveiled their still-unnamed iPad clone.  However, unlike its contemporaries, it isn’t being powered by a 600 MHz Rockchip RK2808 processor. No, this baby is packing ARM’s 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor. For comparison, the iPad runs on Apple’s 1GHz A4 processor. With something like that under the hood of this tablet, it can probably match the iPad in performance – of course, the iPad has the edge since it has the greater development time and has had more work put into it. But if you’re looking for an alternative to the iPad, you can’t go wrong with this.

The screen is 10-inches and can handle 1024×600 resolution.  It sports 16GB of flash storage, 512MB RAM and runs on Google Android. No price yet but reports say that the product will be ready for release in June.
