Asus recently confirmed they were going release some new ultrabooks in their home country Taiwan. We can now confirm that Asus are bringing four ultrabooks to the US market.

The ultrabooks feature the latest Intel Core processor most commonly known as Ivy Bridge. They will also have 1080p IPS displays. The four models that will be released in the US are the UX21A, UX31A, UX32A and UX32VD. All of the ultrabooks will have a 1920×1080 display, including the UX21A which will have an 11 inch display, while the other three ultrabooks feature a 13 inch display. They will also feature a re-tooled keyboard, which makes the pitch 12% deeper as well as being backlit. The touchpad has also been tweaked.

The UX32A uses hybrid hard drives, while the UX31A uses SSD. The UX32VD differs to the UX31A as it has an NVIDIA GT 620M GPU but, apart from that they are pretty much identical. The 13 inch models will start at $999 but, as of yet there is no pricing information for the 11 inch UX21A but, we do know that there will be two different configuration models. One with an i5 processor and 128GB SSD, while the other configuration will have an i7 and an optional 256GB drive. Other than announcing the ultrabooks for the US, there’s no information on a release date.

When Sony announced the VAIO T13 and it’s smaller sibling the T11 the press release and information from Sony indicated that both models would ship with an Intel Core i3-2367M processor which is good but, last gen. However over on Sony’s German site, the specifications sheet lists the T13 ultrabook to come with one of Intel’s latest chips on board. The Intel Core i5-3317U, aka Ivy Bridge is currently found in Samsung’s Series 9.

It’s unknown whether the i5 processor will replace the i3 or, if it will be a different or customizable model.

As well as the Sony VAIO T13 ultrabook, Sony will also be releasing a smaller version of their T series ultrabook.
Both the T11 and T13 feature the same specifications, or hardware choices. The only difference between the two models does appear to come down to screen size along, which should also give them different price points. Both Sony ultrabooks should be available in the UK from early June.

To recap, the T series ultrabooks feature 4GB RAM, Intel i3-2367M CPU, 32GB SSD and a 320GB hard drive, HDMI and VGA ports, USB 2.0 and 3.0, along with Bluetooth 4.0, an ethernet port and Wi-Fi.

Asus has revealed an upcoming ultrabook which boasts of a 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT620M graphics card running alongside an Intel Ivy Bridge processor. Called the Zenbook UX32VD ultrabook, this device was seen at a recent event in Taiwan.

The Zenbook UX32VD joins the slew of powerful new devices including two ultrabooks, called the UX21A and UX31A. Both of these devices have high resolution screens of 1920 x 1080 pixels measuring 11.6 and 13.3 inches diagonally.

Meanwhile, the Zenbook UX32VD ultrabook is packed with the third generation Ivy Bridge processor which has integrated graphics. This technology enables the ultra slim notebook to support full HD 1080p videos as well as 3D gaming. The device will also come with a Solid State Disk (SSD) and wireless display (WiDi) functionality.

Several flavors of this ultrabook are expected to hit the market, which could retail from $800 to over $1000. The cheaper models will have a Hard Disk Drive instead of a Solid State Disk, and a lower native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. These budget devices will also not have NVIDIA graphics, which significantly raises the price of the ultrabooks.

The fact that there are newly released ultrabooks and hybrid devices to run the mobile PC market today, still, smaller and lighter laptops called netbooks are nonetheless gaining a hit part out of this growing electronic industry.

Acer has created once again some kicks and tricks for the rising laptop market. With its newly unveiled Aspire One 725 netbook, consumers can actually feel the need for a different light browsing alternative.

The Aspire One 725 is an 11.6 incher netbook boasting a 1366 × 768p display resolution. What’s more exciting is that it features AMD’s low-power Fusion chipset through the dual-core C-60 processor. Also, this unit is equipped with AMD Radeon HD 6290 GPU together with up to 4 GB of RAM and a 320/500 GB hard drive.

Acer opted to include brightness of up to 200-nits with its CineCrystal display; aiming to transform a quite better device than your typical netbook. The Aspire One 725 also features Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI port and will have support for the 850/900/1900/2100 MHz 3G bands for a max speed of 7.2 Mbit/s. It is one inch thick and comes with a 4-cell battery.

However, for now, Acer didn’t give even some hints about its pricing and releasing info.

Although Dell’s plans of upgrading their Alienware offerings to Ivy Bridge does not include the widely popular M11x gaming notebook, it looks like there may still be hope to see an updated version of it come out soon after all.

Information received by the guys over at Maximum PC indicate that Dell is working on possibly rebranding the Alienware M11x and putting it under either the XPS or Inspiron product line. When that happens, putting out an updated M11x with Ivy Bridge just might be in the cards.

At the same time, Dell is reportedly also looking to launch Alienware Ultrabooks some time later this year, a move that could really put Ultrabooks on the road to mass market adoption.

All of this information is essentially speculation at this point, and the identity of the unnamed source being cited in Maximum PC‘s report is unknown. Perhaps we’ll all here more about this in the coming weeks or months, if and when information becomes available directly from Dell itself.

With the ability of your mouse to touch, click and take you wherever you want, lead it near the left part of the screen where Australia is at its height of the latest release of DreamBook. It is specifically the Pioneer Computers in Australia.

It is the company known for its most modern designs with advance features. Now they are showing off with their latest Pioneer Computers DreamBook Ultra Power W11 11.6-inch notebook attracting all eyes across the world.

The best features you could not imagine to get from this device is a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7-3820QM quad-core processor paired with a range from 2 GB to 8 GB of RAM. The 256 GB solid state supports this well equipped technology gadget furnished with graphics from a GeForce GTX 650M two gaga-byte plus 2 all-in-one USB 3.0 ports and HDMI outputs.

If you are those who are used to high end technology products, then be surprised as this DreamBook ultra power W11 gives you a whole new experience. Its nine-in-one card reader and a 1.3 MP webcam prove that. But wait till you get to touch the smooth keypads as you might be confused it as touch screen. With also a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, you got to be kidding me if you still think twice in buying.

The notebook is already Windows 7 as its operating system, Wi-Fi connectivity and integrated Bluetooth 4.0 support. It is priced at $899.

Samsung is preparing to release the new 11.6-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab soon. Once a rumor, this device now has proof for its existence in no less than the Samsung Exynos 5 dual-core processors product page on Samsung’s official website.

Earlier, it had been rumored that the device will have a Retina Display like what is found on the new iPad, or a high resolution Super AMOLED HD screen. It had also been suggested that the device would soon be touted as Samsung’s flagship tablet.

In the photo found on the Exynos 5 dual-core processor page, the device looks like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 N from Germany, which is the redesigned version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 after the legal battles with Apple. However, the new device is running on the upcoming Cortex A15 dual-core 5250 processor, and not on the earlier Nvidia dual-core Tegra 2. A closer perusal of the photo also shows that the speakers are a bit larger than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 N’s. The device is also slightly larger and likely to measure 11.6 inches diagonally.

Among the other rumors surrounding the tablet are a 2560 x 1600p resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and Android 4.0 ICS.

Photos and a user manual of the Sony VAIO VCC111 Series have just turned up at the official website of the Federal Communications Commission this week.

This device confirms that there is still support for the Chromebook, or laptops running on Google’s Chrome Operating System. In fact, the user manual explicitly states that users must “Turn on their computer to start Chrome OS.” Furthermore, the keyboard for the device does not have the Windows key, which is present in Windows-powered devices, between Ctrl and Alt.

As per the photos, the left side of the device sports the microphone jack, audio jack, HDMI port, and power jack. Meanwhile, the right side has the SD card reader, and two USB 2.0 ports. The back view shows no internal/external ports; only a chrome finish.

The front view shows a green light which indicates whether the device is turned on or off. The bottom shows the removable battery as well as Chrome recovery option which involves something like a reset outlet on a Wi-Fi. This device measures approximately 21 cm or 8.27 inches in depth.

Sony hasn’t revealed its internal specifications, although this notebook is expected to have the NVIDIA Tegra 1.2GHz ARM processor, an 11.6-inch screen, 2 GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth, and a 16 GB SSD too.

Its price will be around $299 to $400.
