While it isn’t available to purchase yet from Best Buy, over at Engadget they’ve got photos of the netbook being unboxed and shown with Windows 7. The netbook comes with the starter edition of Windows 7, which as Engadget note, only includes one wallpaper, the one shown but, I’m sure many will use their own photos anyway, or find other Windows 7 wallpapers from other sources. This is the first demo unit to arrive at Best Buy. You can view the photos of the unboxing after the jump.

The lucky guys over at Laptop Mag have, as they put it, finally got their hands on the upcoming netbook from Nokia. In previous articles it’s been compared to the MacBook Air and this hands on is no different. It’s noted that while the netbook is slim and sleek at 19.99mm it’s heavier than expected at 2.6 pounds. Like the MacBook Air, the Nokia Booklet is constructed from a single piece of metal which adds the weight to the netbook but, gives it a beautiful aluminium chassis. Also adding to the weight of the netbook is an impressive 16 cell battery designed in the netbook and not sticking out. This gives the netbook up to 12 hours battery life.

Like most netbooks with glossy lids, unfortunately it picks up finger prints very easily. In the video we see the netbook in Aquamarine blue but, it’s also available in white. On the inside it features seamless edge to edge glass display, also found on the MacBook Air. However Laptop Mag feel the display could have been bigger than 10 inches by maker the bezel smaller. It’s also the same case with the keyboard, it feels like it could have been bigger and feels more cramped than other keyboards found on 10 inch netbooks.

You can view the video hands on here as embedding is, unfortunately not available.

Alright folks, it seems that we might be seeing reviews, hands-on, unboxing goodness and all those stuff as early as first week of November, as Nokia Germany is announcing that the Nokia Booklet 3G will be out by October 22. Unfortunately the said date is applicable only for O2 customers in Germany.

O2 will be making the Nokia Booklet 3G available for an upfront price of €249 and €20 monthly service fee that could last up to 24 months. O2 will also be offering an optional flat rate data tariff of €50 per month. So, just do the month and you would have an idea of how much you would be spending for this netbook baby.

In case you’ve missed earlier coverage, the Nokia Booklet 3G boasts of some standard netbook features such as WiFi, 3G, HSPA, Bluetooth and GPS. What’s more it will also give around 12 hours of battery life and will be running Windows 7.

In the meantime folks, here’s a short interview with the folks who are working on the Nokia Booklet 3G.

The Nokia 3G Booklet seems to be pretty on its way to full launch as we now have an unboxing video which is actually part of its product development cycle. From what we can understand just by watching the video below, there’s not much in store for you inside the box of the Nokia 3G Booklet.

But having recently unboxed a MacBook Pro, I can’t help but notice the resemblance in its packaging with the Nokia 3G Booklet. Anyway, some other things that we noticed from the video, the 3G Booklet is like a mini version of the MacBook Pro Unibody. This could probably how the MacBook Netbook would look like if ever Apple would come up with such. Except of course for the glossy top finish of the 3G Booklet as compared to the MacBook’s aluminum classic finish.

Anyway, check out the full video below and tell us what else have you noticed.
