Fujitsu have announced two more products to the LifeBook range. Both the P3010 and P3110 feature an 11.6 inch display, multi touch trackpads and run Windows 7. Like the MacBook Air they will be able to share a DVD drive from the local network, to burn or read disks which is a tad more useful on these netbooks as they don’t include an optical drive.

fujitsunetbook

Aside from Toshiba’s UX series netbook which debuts in Japan, Fujitsu has also announced their new 10-inch netbook dubbed Look M Series. The Fujitsu Look M netbook boasts of a handsome design worthy of being called a top class netbook.  But of course, design is not all that matters when it comes to a netbook’s advantage over its rivals.

Good thing is, Fujitsu has managed to come up with a powerful and affordable netbook with the Look M netbook.  The netbook boasts of the usual 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, 1GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3 USB ports and a multicard reader.

The Fujitsu Look M netbook is available now in Japan at a $611 price range. We don’t have to tell you anymore that for a standard netbook, this is too pricey.

Are you willing to shell out that amount of money just to get the Fujitsu Look M series netbooks?

jkkmobile reports on the Fujitsu LifeBook P1630 hitting the FCC. On the FCC website you’ll find the user manual as well as test reports.

With a 8.9 inch touch screen, up to 2GB of RAM and an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, it won’t be very different to earlier models but worth a consideration. The Fujitsu LifeBook P1630 will also have wlan, lan and bluetooh connectivity as well as a fingerprint reader.

Over at Engadget they have had the opportunity to test out a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Mini and they don’t seem to be all that impressed with some of it’s features.

Inside, the Amilo Mini is fitted with an Atom CPU, 1gb of memory and a 60GB HDD. It comes with a clear 8.9″ WSVGA screen and an internal 1.3mp webcam. All great specs that make this new netbook stand out but, when it comes to the keyboard, Engadget tell us that it flexes far too easily and that the quality of the keyboard comes across as ‘not good enough’. Disappointing news, the Amilo Mini could be so much better in that case. It was a netbook with potential and I can only imagine the delight on Dell’s faces right now.
