Looking for an amazing yet affordable tablet to linger upon? I bet you just might have found another to suit just as that. Treelogic had just announced its new budget slate powered with Brevis 704GWA, an 8 GB model that runs Android 4.0 ICS and supports HD video playback.

Price wise, well, there had been no confirmation but bloggers and analysts have it that it will be somewhere around $200 or even lower. Nice to hear, is it?

The Treelogic device is to sport an Allwinner A10 1.5 GHz processor on board, a Mali 400 GPU, supports 2160p video via HDMI perhaps and also supports 3G modules, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The 7 inch display on board supports the already antique resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The design of the slate is pretty basic but acceptable.

Analysts say that said model from Treelogic is quite a device. As to sales, word has it that this item will first rock on in Russia and the rest of the globe will go on after there. As said earlier, the mark up value is just $200. With that listing, will you back up? Nonetheless, some bloggers say that with the growing number of budget tablets, this is quite an investment.

At definite rate, we have two colors for option usually; generally, they come in both white and black. In fact, we usually have black before the white first, agreed? Samsung is taking a different range at this because for Samsung, “it is white all the way down”.

But we should rant no more. Recently, new color options have already been listed available for the Samsung Galaxy 8.0. Good news, is it? In Germany, red and grey colors had been made available for choices. Anticipated is the fact that other colors are already good to go real soon. So all we do is wait right?

SamMobile heeded information from Samsung’s own arm in Benelux, standing for Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, that a Brown Black Galaxy Note 8.0 will come by and see the light of day. Word has it that in or around the 25th week of this year, this event is to take place. That is starting on June 17 and is lasting until June 23.

So by mid-June we should see what ‘Brown Black’ actually refers to because as of the moment, we don’t have a picture of this version to share – how unfortunate, right? It does sound captivating, though, that much is truly crystal.

A company who doesn’t have a tablet as its baby is something to be talked about – only that, you wouldn’t want it as the subject. Withal, LG is coming to good senses; that is as they say it should be called.

If it could be remembered, over years ago, LG dipped into the idea of having an Android tablet to be called its own. It tried, but results are not of good lining. The Optimus Pad was as uneventful as LG’s smartphones were around the same time.

However, the second largest Korean mobile device maker is occurring on a rotate of genus in the smartphone space. Sales are upbeat, and the company is in progress producing a number of actually enviable models over the past few months. And at the moment, it looks like it is set to leap right back into the tablet industry.

Currently, LG is sweating out to release a new slate. Later this year, we should expect it to rock on the tablet hub. Possibility of release is set in the third quarter of the year (July-September). This is pursuant to a report from munhwa.com. Details about any specifications of the device are entirely mislaid. Appears like we should really wait and see.

Are you looking for an iPad mini like design? Then go for Cube U35GT.

The Cube U35GT is an Android tablet which sports on a package that features a 7.9-inch, 1024 x 768 pixel display and a rather thin bezel around the screen, much like Apple’s tablet, a Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software, a 2MP rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, a mini HDMI port, microSD card slot, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, stereo speakers and up to 6 hours of battery life.

Taking on from how it was described, the U35GT appears to be just like the 10-inch Cube U30GT2 tablet; only that, it is smaller than the 10-inch U30GT. The U35GT model has a smaller, lower resolution display and less built-in storage, and lacks Bluetooth. Nevertheless, it has the same speedy processor and an even lower price tag. How’s that for you to take huh?

Price tag wise, the Cube U35GT compared with the $329 start price of the Apple iPad mini is being sold at around $190 and above. You could have it purchased at AliExpress, and Geekbuying. These said sellers are taking pre-orders for the device.

While everything else is growing fast and furious, gadgets keep the same tag. Well, just recently, another Android tablet is ready to takes us all on: The Earl. What makes this cool is it “camping” capacity and that it is especially made as your backcountry companion. Said appraised capacity had been promised by Google to be blessed in the Google Nexus 7. Well, I’ll bet the wait is over, just that, it’s not with Nexus. With this Earl slate, it seems like everything is owned by you. All you could ask for is beyond what’s more.

The Earl Tablet is running to sport on a package that rocks a 6-inch 1024 x 768 E-Ink display from LG, it is water, dust and shockproof IP67 certified, can be used with gloves, and is even solar powered, comes with a 3,000 mAh battery and the back of the slate employs a solar panel for charging, and it lasts up to 20 hours with a single charge – credits to that E-Ink display. What else? Well, all I could is say is that “there is definitely more with this tablet.”

Additionally, said device has a little 3D joypad for easy navigation, GPS for backcountry navigation, a built-in walkie-talkie, an emergency radio, has accurate forecasting with a weather sensor, have an open API developers can tap, runs Android 4.1, and has 16GB of storage.

With this device, what is more to ask?

Recent updates show their specifications, aesthetic design and price tag. Specification wise, analysts and bloggers have it that nothing much than usual should be expected as they are midrange at best. To named them we have: Ideatab A1000, Ideatab A3000 and the Lenovo S6000.

The IdeaTab A1000 is a 7-inch slate with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, a MediaTek MTK 8317 processor (dual core) at 1 GHz and 16 GB of storage. Also, it has 1 GB of RAM, Android 4.2 as the OS and a microSD card slot, plus the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a front 0.3 megapixel camera. The device is measuring 10.7 mm in thickness, weighs 340 grams and it has a 3500 mAh battery.

On the other hand, the IdeaTab A3000 comes with a 7-inch IPS screen with 1024 x 600 pixel res, a MediaTek quad core 1.2 GHz procesor and a 5 megapixel cam at the back. A welcome addition is a 3G HDSPA module, while the rest is pretty much the same as the A1000, including the battery, storage and RAM. It is running Android 4.1 operating system and has a microSD card slot as well.

Whereas, the S6000 sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, a quad core 1.2 GHz MediaTek CPU, 16 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and Android 4.2. We’ve got optional 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a back 5 MP camera and a 6340 mAh battery inside.

Talking about tag prices, the Lenovo IdeaTab A1000 could be brought home for 149 Euro, whilst the A3000 will be 199 and the S6000 299 Euro.

According to one Intel Executive, notebook prices should soon be hitting $200 but most of those will be come not with the Window 8 operating system. Also, Intel CEO Paul Otellini stated that touch screen PCs could debut at prices as low as $200 in the next coming months. No operating system has been specified to come by with such PCs.

However, Intel Executive Vice President and Chief product officer Dadi Perlmutter told CNET that notebooks priced at the $200 level will predominantly be Android products running on Intel’s Atom mobile processor. Whether Windows 8 PCs hit that price largely depends on Microsoft, to wit: “We have a good technology that enables a very cost-effective price point. The price of Windows 8 laptops depends on how Microsoft prices Windows 8. It may be a slightly higher price point.”

No specifications as to what these Android notebooks will appear to be like but probability shows that they will be hybrids; that is, convertible-type devices. Also part of Perlmutter’s notations is his expectation that the PC market to pick up in the back half of the year and heading into 2014 as new devices become available.

Moreover, Perlmutter provided that the Intel will ship data-only multimode LTE processors by mid-year and multimode voice over LTE and data processors later in 2013. Recently, Intel only offers a single-mode LTE chip, which limits the processor’s addressable market.

Well, as what analyst says, budget and/or affordability of devices should go with the quality it can offer. It takes two to tango up to success.
