Following our recent posts about the pricing details and release date of the Eee PC 1201HA, Netbook Italia has unearthed the manual of the said netbook right from the Asus Taiwan site. And the said manual revealed that there will be two other Eee PC 1201 models – the 1201N and 1201T.

The Eee PC 1201N will have an Nvidia ION platform and HDMI output while the 1201T will have a slightly different design and will have no HDMI capability.

As for the Eee PC 1201HA details, it’s still the same Intel Atom Z520 CPU, 2GB of Memory, 250GB of HDD and of course Windows 7.

In addition, the Eee PC 1201HA will have the following ports on its sides – memory card slot, headphone output jack slot, microphone jack and 3 USB ports.

The Eee PC 1201HA will be available next month in Italy for around 399 euros.

Here’s something that might make you admire our friendly PC cloners in China. How’s an Eee PC 1002HA with VIA Nano CPU and VIA X855 chipset sound to you? Nope? Doesn’t sound exciting?

Well, what if we tell you that the said Eee PC 1002HA clone being featured by Shanzai.com  now provides improved performance and allows you to play full HD resolution video? Now, we’re talking right?

The Eee PC 1002HA clone was a product of the GMB alliance launched last year by VIA Technologies which is formed by key manufacturing and infrastructure players in Shanzhen. The alliance aimed to gather as much followers who will move away from Intel. And the use of the VIA VX855 is being pushed by VIA Technologies to carry out their objectives.

Going back to the Eee PC 1002HA clone bearing the VIA VX855 CPU, the machine was able to playback HD video without burdening its chipset too much. This means that the machine’s CPU is free to do what it needs to do, while the VIA VX855 takes care of handling HD video playback.

The machine looks pretty much like the Eee PC S101. And since it is not yet known when this will be made available, you might want to examine other photos posted at Shanzai.

The SNBK-1 Mini features the regular specs you’d find on your average netbook apart from the processor. Instead of the more traditional Intel Atom N270, it will come with a VIA C7-M 1.6GHz processor. The 10.2 inch screen is capable of a 1024 x 600 resolution. The netbook also comes with a 120GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, WiFi, 3 cell or 6 cell battery and a 1.3 megapixel webcamera.

Seamless have announced via a press release that shipping of the netbook has now begun. However, how many have been shipped and the price of the netbook have been witheld for now.

Seamless starts shipping netbook

VIA sources have indicated that they and Nvidia have suspended the deal that was set up in April this year, to work on a platform for netbooks and MID’s together.

This was to be a another ‘cooperation’ between the two companies that are already working together to build desktop PC components, that could have seen the VIA C7 and Nano processors paired with MCP79 IGP chipsets which could have seen the two companies become a bigger ‘player’ in the netbook phenomenon.
