averatec-netbook

Avertec are to release their newest netbook model sometime in August or September. No specifications as such have been released other than it’ll be a 10 inch netbook. Tae Hyun Cho, CEO for Averatec also revealed that the operating system chose is going to be a surprise. Does this hint that it could come installed with Android? While Cho didn’t say it was going to be Android, he didn’t deny it either. He did say that it would be a “a merger of cell phone and PC technology.”

The Android operating system so far seems successful with several big name netbook companies like MSI, Asus and HP, stating they’re experimenting with the Android platform. While Skytone are to release a netbook within the next 3 months using Android.
