Cowon Introduces R7 Full HD Super Portable Media Player Tablet
A Korean digital company Cowon unleashed its new non-Android 7-inch tablet named as Cowon R7. The latest R7 tab which categorized as full HD Super Portable Media Player or PMP is run by Windows Embedded CE 6.0 Operating System that supports almost 32,768 processes. Since it is formed with a smaller screen, this tablet encompasses only of an 800 x 480-pixel resolution though it could have an output of 1080p over HDMI.
The Cowon R7 measures a bit thicker compared with Blackberry playbook at 13.6mm yet weighs lighter for 355 grams. Equipped with 64GB of internal memory and expandable using a microSD card, you can enjoy storing a lot of files, images and videos which you can load manually on the device since it lacks Wi-Fi feature for Internet access. Though it supports Flash, it won’t still able to flaunt a better definition display due to its lower resolution. But the good news is its battery can last up to 10 hours of continuous video usage.
As of the moment, Cowon R7 has no official price yet and its distribution is limited only to Korea and there’s still no reports if it will be offered to other countries as well.
