Custom ROMs start appearing for Transformer Pad TF300T

The other day we reported that Asus had released an official tool to unlock the bootloader on the Transformer Pad TF300T. Since then, developers have begun creating custom ROMs for the Asus tablet.
The Asus Transformer Pad TF300T ships with the latest version of Android on board, Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich but, you can run a custom version of Android via CyanogenMod 9. CM9 is designed to improve the performance on Android as well as offer special features not available for the standard Android 4.0 pre-installed. This is still an early build of the custom ROM at the minute so every thing isn’t perfected and there may be some functions that aren’t working fully yet. Transferring files between the tablet and PC via a USB cable only has partial support at the minute for example.
It’s also worth noting that installing the custom ROM, or any custom ROM for that matter, will void your warranty however, Asus state that just unlocking the bootloader voids the warranty.
