Customize your Ubuntu Netbook Remix install in more ways than 12

If for some reason you’ve gone and installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix on your netbook and are currently using it as your main OS, why not try and make the most out of it by applying a few simple customizations? There are several ways to do it, and Damien from MakeTechEasier is offering a total of 13 ways in total, to customize UNR and improve overall usability. His suggested customizations range from the easy (installing a couple of new Web browsers) to even easier (hiding the date!). I’ll admit to having done at least a couple of these before, and I can testify that they do help in improving usability of the system overall.
