Dell Intros XPS Duo 12: Tablet and Notebook PC in One
For those who are not tech savvy, there have been devices that are hybrid of different genre, a tablet and a notebook PC for instance. And recently, Dell has jumped over and introduced the XPS Duo 12. One of the bests of both worlds.
The Dell XPS 12 is both a notebook and a tablet, but depends of course on the circumstances of when or how you use it. It is armed with the new Windows 8 Operating System, which has touch-based interaction in its menu. It has also a hinge system that allows it to transform from notebook to tablet. The display is at 12.5 inches and has lightweight Gorilla Glass, making it a tablet to withstand wear and yet still be light.
The arrival of this hybrid is set to be in the market by the end of October just a few weeks shy past the launch of Windows 8 on October 6th. There is no word yet as to how much this piece of technology from Dell is worth. So if you’re itching to buy a tablet and a new laptop, why not give the Dell XPS 12 a test run.
