Dell M4700 and 6700 Notebook PCs’ Documents Leaked
Documents regarding two of Dell’s laptops called the Dell M4700 and the Dell 6700 have been leaked to the public. The documents are owner’s manuals which had been available for some time for anyone interested even before the company unveils the devices. The one for the M6700 even included a guide on how to tear down the device if the need for it ever arises.
Possibly realizing this faux pas, Dell has taken down the PDF files to prevent more from knowing about the laptops. Unfortunately, it is hard to find the contents of the manuals now that Dell has removed them. Earlier, however, it had been rumored that the Dell 6700 of the Precision line will have up to two 2.5-inch hard disk drive or solid state disk for storage, DDR3 RAM at 1866 MHz, a webcam, a card-reader, and Wireless Gigabit. It might also be powered by 65 Whr or 97 Whr batteries.
The M4700 will have many of the same specifications, but it will have a single hard disk drive or solid state disk for its part. As for the display, the devices could have an LED-backlit screen with a Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels and an anti-glare coat. The graphics of the Dell M4700 will be taken care of by the AMD FirePro M4000 GPU. Meanwhile, that of the Dell 6700 could sport a 3D or 2D display along with the AMD Heathrow XT or the NVIDIA N14EQx GPU. The release date for the laptops is still unknown at present.
