Dell Mini 10 getting WiMAX
The FCC has given us a lot of good things lately. And here’s another one: the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 is getting a WiMAX upgrade. Now, this isn’t any formal announcement yet when and how much it will sell for but it’s a great start if you want to future-proof your netbook.
WiMAX is not yet as widespread as 3G is in most parts of the globe but it’s getting there. WiMAX has a longer range than WiFi and can deliver 10Mbps over the air. We probably have to wait a bit for this since it just launched the base model of the new Dell Inspiron Mini earlier this year.
