Dell Presents Business Users With Latitude 10 Tablet And Optiplex 9010

Dell has new devices targeted at the enterprise sector. The first one is the Latitude 10 tablet, and it boasts of Windows 8 Operating System. Under the hood is an Intel Atom System On a Chip, an eMMC NAND storage capacity of 128 GB, and 2 GB of RAM.

Dell provides an SD card slot, as well, to allow for expansion if users ever need more space. Connectivity options include a regular-sized USB port, mini HDMI port and micro USB port on the tablet. However, on the dock, users will also find four USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, audio-out and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

Dell also offers a headphone and microphone jack and a micro SIM slot. Its IPS LDC display measures 10.1 inches and sports a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. For protection, this display has a Gorilla Glass covering. Lastly, the tablet has a High Definition front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

Business users, however, who prefer an all-in-one desktop solution instead of a tablet for work may opt for the Dell’s Optiplex 9010, instead. The device already made an appearance earlier this year, when it was revealed that it will come with a 23-inch display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

This is Dell’s first business laptop to be classified as an ultrabook, because of its mix of ultra portability and powerful computing capabilities. The laptop boasts of a magnesium chassis, weighs 3.7 lbs, and measures 0.82 in thickness. The device has a 256GB solid state disk, as well, and an Ivy Bridge processor. This device will be available this coming October.
