Dell reveals classy business laptop, the Latitude 13 CULV

What I love about business laptops is that they pack in so much like the HP Mini 5102 is that they have that tough, offer-you-can’t-refuse look while at the same time showing elegant lines and excellent usability. The new Dell Latitude 13 has the same effect and it touted as the “world’s thinnest 13 inch commercial client laptop” according to its manufacturer. It also looks like its older sibling, the Dell Vostro 13 down to the internals.

- 13.3″ display
- Intel ULV processor
- HDD or SSD drive, packed with disk encryption, and Computrace software
- Windows 7 or XP
- Desktop virtualization via Citrix and VMWare, as well as support for Dell ImageDirect
- 802.11g/n WiFi, Bluetooth and WWAN (optional)
- Blu-ray Drive (optional)
I know this machine isn’t for me since I don’t have an IT staff to support system images and virtual desktop but if your company is in the market, this is definitely a good suggestion to forward to your CIO. The Latitude will be available soon and we’ll keep you posted once it hits the online shelves.
