dell-mini-10v-catalog
In this month’s catalogue from Dell there’s several great saving offers on from the Mini 10 to the Inspiron 17. An interesting find on the very last page reveals an even cheaper Mini 10 model for $299. The new model denoted with a v, the Dell Inspiron Mini 10v will be released mid May for $100 less than the current Mini 10 model. Not much is cut back for the $100 either. The hard drive is reduced in size from 160GB to 120GB which is still adequate. The processor used has also been changed. The 10v will use the more traditional CPU of the Intel Atom N270 instead of the Z series Atom processor.

  3. This is not a new problem…a few years ago I had a stick of memory go bad in my Dell 4100. It was still under warranty, but Dell refused to send me a new stick because I was not running the original OS (Window XP). After many hours on the phone, I gave up and bought a new stick.
