Dell has just introduced a follow-up to the Inspiron Mini 9, this time with a 12-inch display screen – the Dell Inspiron Mini 12. Before you even think that the 12-inch screen size is enough reason to categorize this netbook into an ultraportable standard notebook, think again, because despite its big screen by netbook standard, the Inspiron Mini 12’s other specs still belong to the netbook family.
The Dell Inspiron Mini 12 will have the following specs:
- 12.1-inch WXGA display (1280×800 resolution)
- Intel Atom Processor
- 1GB RAM
- Choice of 60GB or 80GB Hard Drive
- Built-in Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g wireless
- 2.72 lbs, 0.92-inches thick
- Windows Vista OS
The Dell Inspiron Mini 12 will also offer support and access to Dell’s after sales services such as; Dell support Center, DellConnect Remote Assistance, DellDock software.
Although available now for retail in Japan, the Dell Inspiron Mini 12 will most likely hit online stores sometime in November.
And guess how much this netbook baby will retail? Just around $600. Definitely cheaper than the Eee PC S101.
