Dell to Launch its Mini Notebook Today, We Hope So
Dell is organizing a big event later today that will showcase the company’s new generation of fresh and innovative designs, extreme power-efficiency and connectivity that will allows users to work anytime, anywhere.
I guess we don’t have to think deep just to get the gist of this event, and we are all hoping that one of the new products that will be officially launched by Dell is its much anticipated netbook, the Dell Inspiron Mini. In fact all clues are pointing to the announcement about this netbook. Even our favorite digital IT-related news source in Asia, Digitimes is reporting about Compal Electronics getting a boost on its sales due to the shipment of Dell netbooks.
According to the report, Compal is projecting around 32 million units of Dell netbooks in before the end of the year, courtesy of two Dell Inspiron Mini notebooks – the 8.9-inch netbook coming out next month and the 10-inch netbook which is scheduled for release sometime in October.
The wait will be over in a few hours from now. And we will give you the latest update about this announcement as soon as it comes out. Stay tuned.
