Desktop MSI Wind Spotted in Japan

Recently, Akihabara News reported that a desktop version of the MSI Wind netbook is already available in the Japanese market.  The said MSI Wind nettop which now sports the name CD100 is being sold in Japan in its bare bone form – that is without OS, RAM or HDD.

But if you think that the CD100 is a useless piece of junk, well think again because it actually has a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor mounted on a 945GC Express _ ICH7 chipset motherboard. It features a compact case measuring 65x240x300mm.

The MSI Wind CD 100 is being sold in Japan for around $287.
