Eee 1016P and 1018P Up for Grabs in Germany

Aside from the EeeBox EB1501U and EB1012U, Asus is also releasing two new netbooks in Italy, and these are the Eee PC 1016P and Eee PC  1018P. In case you don’t remember it anymore, both these Eee PC netbooks just passed through the US FCC for approval and is now awaiting final release date in the U.S. market.

So, while netbook fans awaits the release of these two netbooks, Asus went ahead and launched  them both to the German market. Both netbooks will set you back for 399 Euros and 499 Euros.

The Eee PC 1016P will be available sometime between June-September this year and will be running on Intel Atom N455 CPU and loaded with 2GB of RAM, 6-cell battery and Windows 7 Professional. The Eee PC 1016P will set you back for 499 Euros.

Meanwhile, the Eee PC 1018P sports Intel Atom N475 1.83GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, 6-cell battery and USB 3.0. A smaller configuration with Intel Atom N455 CPU is also available. Price ranges from 399 to 429 euros for this netbook.
