If you’ve always wanted a touchscreen monitor but were afraid to gut out your netbook, Pen And Free has a solution for you via the Duo for Laptop. It’s a clip-on device paired to a pen to turn your netbook into a tablet, though you don’t get to swivel it into a real tablet without a mod.

Eeeuser member Cms has done them one better by modding his Asus Eee PC 1000HE and putting inside the messy USB plug of the Duo for a classier tablet experience. I especially like the way he put it on the side for symmetry with the pen holder and for easier book reading plus the awesome skin and OS he’s got.
