Eee PC 701 tablet mod goes all out

Here we have another mod done on the netbook that started it all, the Eee PC 701. The main goal was to turn it into a mini media center for watching flicks and reading eBooks. User McG from EeeUser posted up a quick how-to and teardown of his unit to show how he did his mod.

It was certainly a labor of love and he did a swell job of putting it together. He even added on an extended battery which should be useful as a handle and a slot for the stylus.
