Is it possible to load Linux on the 1000H as oppose to having it run with XP? Or do you think there is an upgrade option for the 1000?

It all depends on if it is truly equivalent however. Asus provides nice features on the Eee PC with their advances maclike touch pad, high quality speakers, etc.

Dell are a big enough company but that’s one hell of an undercutting if those prices turn out to be accurate. Maybe that will be for a base model?

If the reports are true that the Dell Mini will be equivalent to the 901 and $200-$300 cheaper, bye bye eee pc and hello Dell.
