It’s July 8, and as promised the Eee PC 901 started arriving in US stores. Newegg is now listing the Eee PC 901 as among its “In Stock” products. That means they already have available units in their inventory.

Newegg is listing both the Galaxy Black and Pearl White models running on Windows XP for $599, with an additional $13.09 shipping cost if you want to get your unit within 3 days.

The Eee PC 901 units come with the 6-cell lithium ion battery and a 12GB SSD. Interestingly, Amazon.com which have started accepting pre-orders for the Eee PC 901 a couple of days ago, have not updated their product listing for the Eee PC 901.
