I really admire modders and hackers (in the good sense of the word) for their patience, perseverance and determination in modifying netbooks, or any PC for that matter just to make it more useful. Take the case of this one modder who patiently implanted his Eee PC 901 with the trackball of his Apple mouse onto the palm rest of his Eee PC. It took a lot of effort really to get this thing to work. Good thing is, this modder is already a veteran when in comes to this things.

We’ve learned that he previously hacked with Eee PC to put GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM transmitter, SDHC card reader, modem, USB hub and of course 2GB RAM to the same Eee PC.  How I wish I have the skills and the tenacity to do those things to my Eee PC 701, then I wouldn’t have sold it.

Anyway, the guy has this video to prove that he really did put a trackball onto his Eee PC 901. Enjoy the video.
