Asus mentioned that the 901 is going to be replaced by the 903, which has the same design as the 900. And you can’t buy the 901 yet. As a consumer, I’m getting confused what to buy…

Gadgetwise, think of the eeepc as like the IPOD. Now imagine if Apple had brought out an IPOD branded cassette tape player. Suddenly the IPOD would not be so noteworthy anymore.

Yes. I think it’s clear Asus are trying to cash in on the eeepc brand by leveraging what would be considered to be low-end regular laptops in there. I predict this will be to their cost.
