Eee PC Bicycle Mount, Anyone?
Have you run out of things to do with your old and trusty Eee PC 701? Is it just lying around and gathering dust? Well, how about mounting your Eee PC to your bike’s handlebars so that you can use it either for GPS or Mapping functionality? Instructables has prepared a step-by-step procedure for mounting your Eee PC or other netbook to a bike.
The mount is made up of wood and with some carpentry and mechanical skills you can now bring your netbook even while on your bike. Just make sure that you’re not watching anything, or blogging or whatever activities that would require you to use your hand and eyes.
It’s fun and the project fits the Eee PC 701 well since we all know that the machine is equipped with an SSD, so you are assure that your data is intact even when on a bumpy ride with your bike.
