Eee PC S101 and Other Asus Products Snag Red Dot Design Awards

How about this for all of us Asus Eee PC fans? Our favorite netbook brand has just bagged the very prestigious Red Dot Design Award. This award ranks the largest and most famous design competitions worldwide.  The winners were chosen by an international jury who reviews and evaluates products which passed through strict criteria. These criteria include degree of innovation, functionality, and the formal quality of product.  These criteria were established to ensure that the winning products were evaluated adequately.

And so, which Asus products got the award we’re talking about? – The Eee PC S101, the Eee Keyboard PC, the S121 and P30 notebooks, and the ASUS Chocolate notebook keyboard.  This is in addition to other Asus products which also got some honorable mentions from the Red Dot Design Awards Committee.

Hopefully this won’t affect the pricing of the mentioned Asus products if and when they are released to the market.
