Eee PC S101H Detailed Review

Kamal of Gadgetmix got his hands on the classy netbook Eee PC S101H. I guess, you know by now what that H stands for, if not well it simply means that this version of the ultra-slim Eee PC has a HDD for storage instead of the SSD of its brother the Eee PC S101.

According to Kamal’s review, the Eee PC S101H is a sexy Eee PC taunting some luxurious design on some of its parts including  some crystals on its hinges, and a glowing keyboard keys. Incidentally, talking about keyboard, the Eee PC S101H’s keyboard suffer the same problem as the Eee PC 1000H – that is the misplacement of the right shift key. And from the looks of it, it borrows the same keyboard desing as the 1000H – meaning it’s not the chicket-style keyboard similar to the 1000HE.

Kamal also noted the particularly slow boot-up time of the Eee PC S101H.

Battery life is also not as good as the 1000HE despite the fact that the S101H is also equipped with the Super Hybrid Engine Technology. Given that the S101H runs on Intel Atom N270, our favorite Eee PC 1000HE is still better in performance.

One key feature of the S101H is the touchpad which only have one bar below it. The S101H’s touchpad is easier to use according to Kamal. It supports multi-touch gestures, two finger scroll and zoom-in and zoom-out functions.

Ok, that’s all we have to tell you about the S101H. You may now head over to Gadgetmix.com for their full review of the Eee PC S101H.

Thanks Kamal!
