Asustek computers is facing shipment delays of Asus EEE’s 8GB models in Taiwan. The reason for these delays is the tight supply of SLC flash chips and batteries. President Jerry Shen also admitted the shortage of SLC flash chips and batteries for 8GB models.

Asus EEE PCs are becoming more and more popular these days, so it can be a major problem for the company. However, the president stressed on the fact that the demand will be fulfilled soon and shipments will be resumed as soon as possible.
