Eurocom Offers 1TB Mobile SSD on New Notebooks and Workstations

Eurocom, known for its professional and gaming laptops such as the P370EM Scorpius and high performance mobile workstations or the heavy duty laptops/mobile servers such as the Panther series, has just surpassed the mobile Solid State Drive (SSD) expectations. The company recently announced that it will ship the 1-terabyet OCZ Octane SATA 2.5″ SSD in its line of upgradeable notebooks and mobile workstations.

Eurocom Offers 1 TB SSD

To date, 1 TB drive is the largest mobile SSD. Aside from the large size, the OCZ Octane SATA 2.5″ features an outstanding maximum read (460 MB/s) and write (330 MB/s) speeds. The drive comes with a 3-year warranty.

Eurocom President Mark Bialic explains:

“At one time, SSDs were high speed low capacity storage mediums, with the 1TB OCZ Octane SATA III 2.5″ SSD users can now have the best of speed and capacity within their Eurocom Notebook”.

The OCZ Octane SATA 2.5″ SSD is currently an available upgrade in Eurocom models. And with astounding storage enhancements comes a quite pricey equivalent, that is $2,795 (additional).
