Engadget manages to get a hands-on of the new Everex Cloudbook Max deing displayed at the ongoing CTIA Wireless 2008. The new Everex Cloudbook Max has an 8.9-inch WVGA display at 1024 x 600 resolution, runs on Windows Vista, WLAN, Bluetooth, integrated GPS receiver, 2 megapixel webacam, 80GB HDD, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 1.6GHz processor, and many more powerful specs. But most importantly the new Everex Cloudbook Max runs Sprint’s XOHM WiMAX network.

Looks like as early as now, the Asus Eee PC 9-inch model already has a competition even before it is released. But I guess the deciding factor now would the price. With such a powerful little machine, the Cloudbook Everex MAX would certainly sell for a high price.
