Our charger comes with seven interchangeable tips to connect with current popular netbooks and mini-computer machines.

The universal charger folds neatly into the charger to make it as a compact all-in-one charging solution for you netbooks. It has a fully retractable cable and one integrated USB port that makes it flexible enough to allow charging of additional devices.

Design-wise, this charger is smaller than the iPhone and sports a sleek and compact look. It comes with a carry bag that holds up the charger, cables and adapter tips. Best thing about this charger is that it expands up to 6 feet in length, which retracts neatly if you want to.

Expect this charger to hit stores shelves anytime this month for a price tag of $69.99.

Via <a

Now, this isn't any formal announcement yet when and how much it will sell for but it's a great start if you want to future-proof your netbook.

WiMAX is not yet as widespread as 3G is in most parts of the globe but it's getting there. WiMAX has a longer range than WiFi and can deliver 10Mbps over the air. We probably have to wait a bit for this since it just launched the base model of the new Dell Inspiron Mini earlier this year.

source <a

The company sent in a few renders of the final device to Slashgear and while the old sleek design is gone, the new form looks a bit more robust.

As everyone turns to the iPad and tries to be better than it, Notion Ink sits comfortably with a few welcome features of its own. The battery on this device would be 2-3 times longer than the iPad, making it last for a couple of days without recharging. That's on regular usage and with the integrated Pixel Qi in use, it would even sport a longer battery life still.

This tablet is also HD capable and can output 1080p with no sweat. The Adam will be able to use its screen to its advantage with tie-ins for digital magazines and comics, a couple of things the iPad doesn't have in its announced iBookstore.

They seemed to have taken a cue from Camangi and launched an App competition to design software for their tablet. Who knows, if you win here, you'll see your app in thousands of tablets once the Adam becomes available. And the prize is nothing to scoff at, a cool $1 million.

Wait for more juicy info in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2010 where lots of mobile manufacturers will be spilling the beans on yet more MIDs, tablets and smartphones.

source A sleek new Android-powered MID will be officially launched during this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, and it comes from a little-known Korean company called Inbrics. It's called the M1 Android MID, and it packs the power of a MID in the form factor of a proper smartphone. You could throw it in a box full of Nokia N97s and Motorola DROIDs and will be hard-pressed to tell the difference in device classification.

The Inbrics Android MID features a 3.7" AMOLED touchscreen display, 800MHz ARM Cortex A8-based Samsung processor, sliding QWERTY keypad, 3MP camera, front-facing VGA webcam, 16GB internal storage, microSD support, GPS, WiFi, and 3G or WiMAX connectivity. What version of Android it will run at retail is still not determined, for its official release date hasn't been pinpointed yet. But expect it to become available either late this year or early next year.

Via <a

A remote control won't let you type on it, a mouse needs a flat surface to work and a full keyboard is a bit of overkill for just watching media.

Enter MSI's Air keyboard. It has a keyboard where you can enter words for search boxes and has the full complement of media keys and directional pad for controlling menus. It even has hot keys for search. What's more, it can use motion detection so you can use it as a mouse.

The RF based device needs a USB dongle to work and weighs 0.2kg. No word on how long the battery will last but it does use 2 replaceable AA batteries and goes to standby after inactivity.

It's selling in Germany starting this March for €79 (US$108) and works on Windows and Mac OS X for you hackintoshers out there.

source If for some reason you've gone and installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix on your netbook and are currently using it as your main OS, why not try and make the most out of it by applying a few simple customizations? There are several ways to do it, and Damien from MakeTechEasier is offering a total of 13 ways in total, to customize UNR and improve overall usability. His suggested customizations range from the easy (installing a couple of new Web browsers) to even easier (hiding the date!). I'll admit to having done at least a couple of these before, and I can testify that they do help in improving usability of the system overall. I'm sure you can't wait to see the full list of customizations so I'll let you get to it via the link below.

Via <a
