Recently, First International Computer’s CW001 Mini-Note was spotted at the FCC site (Dated Dec. 31, 2008). And since we’re pretty much sure what happens next when a gadget device arrives on the FCC database, expect to see FIC’s CW001 Mini-Note to start arriving soon on U.S. stores.
Before we get into the specs of the CW001 Mini-Note, may we remind you that FIC owns a majority stake in Everex, which if you remember has the Cloudbook netbook right under its collar.
Anyway, the FIC CW001 Mini-Note will have the following specs:
- 10.4-10.1 inch (1024×600) resolution display
- 2GB RAM
- 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU
- optical drive
- 1.3MP webcam
- HDD
- WiFi, Bluetooth
- Windows XP
- 4 cell Li-ion battery (which gives you 4.5 hours of battery life)
Of course, we are really interested to know when and for how much this netbook would be available. But the FCC documents won’t certainly give us those information.
Update: Check out the FIC Taiwan site for more details about the CW001.
