Laptop Mag have posted up a ‘preview’/first look at the proto-type CTL 2go Tablet which is netbook sized and is based on Intel’s 3rd Gen Classmate PC aka “netvertible”. CTL are the first company to take Intel’s design into the market, a design which includes a rotating touchscreen.
This proto-type netbook is quite ‘chunky’ and has a large carrying handle attached to the unit, which is indicative of it’s main build purpose - to primarily serve the educational market. It comes with an 8.9″ display, 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 1GB RAM and built in wi-fi. Intel have also included a “Quick Launcher” which gives easy access for launching of files using the touchscreen. CTL expect to be shipping their new netbooks at the end of the year, early next year and the price will be $499.
There is also a video of the preview here.
