First Look: Lenovo ThinkPad X100e
James Kendrick of jkOnTheRun got an evaluation unit of Lenovo’s AMD-powered ThinkPad X100e. The verdict so far is all thumbs up and I can’t blame them. I saw this one in person a while back and it looked great, from the keyboard to the compact chassis. It was a bit heavy though due to the more solid build. Some specs to put it in perspective.
Lenovo ThinkPad X100e

- 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 with ATI Radeon HD3200
- 2GB RAM
- 320GB HDD

- 3 x USB, VGA port, LAN, card reader, combo audio jack, 0.3MP webcam

It also has the trademark of all ThinkPads, a track button in the middle of the keyboard to control the mouse. Let’s wait for their full review which should be out soon.
