Words on the streets of China are so strong indicating that Google’s much awaited Chrome OS could be sold together with Chinese-designed CPU under the Longsoon brand. The Longsoon 2F processor was initially designed to work with Linux Software and since the Google Chrome OS is basically an OS on top of a Linux platform, this might seem a pretty logical possibility.
Google Chrome OS fits rightly into the Loongson 2F processor which works best with MIPS based processor and ARM Chip mostly used in smartbooks.
Further reports indicate that there have been substantial orders for the Longsoon CPU which will be used for 7 to 9 inch netbooks.
