Frontier has created a new ultra-portable PC notebook, the FRLN.
This interesting new notebook sports a 12″ LCD screen, yet weighs 1.25kg, less than the Macbook Air. The screen is powered with LEDs, providing a longer battery life. The FRLN also measures in thinner than the Macbook Air. But the biggest surprise? The FRLN is designed to be rugged, with a waterproof keyboard, the ability to handle up to 240lbs of pressure, and handle a drop from nearly 80cm. Can the Macbook Air do that? Nope.
Unfortunately, this machine is not as powerful as the Macbook Air, so if you’re looking for a heavy duty machine for harsh cpu intensive work. The machine hosts an Intel A110 CPU, not exactly a wise choice for performance. The machine will come standard with an 80GB hard drive, A/B/G WiFi, and 1GB RAM.

I think it’s good but they should have installed a processor that is better than this one; maybe they just chose something that can withstand the rugged design of this notebook computer. For me, it’s better than the smaller screened notebooks.
