Fujitsu brings Lifebook Premium ultrabook to CeBIT

Fujitsu never missed the chance to show itself at CeBIT to introduce its new ultrabook under the working name Lifebook Premium. The 14-inch ultrabook sports a ‘frameless’ design as well as the capability to open 180 degrees. The notebook measures only 16mm (0.63 inches) thick and weighs 1.5kg (3.3lbs).
Under the machine’s magnesium alloy body is a 4G LTE modem as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios. While it basic specs are not confirmed yet by the company, this machine should run on Intel’s ultra low-voltage Ivy Bridge processors.
The notebook also features a fingerprint scanner, along with other security measures, making this ultrabook perfect for professional use. External connections include two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI slot, a headphone jack, an SD memory card slot and an Ethernet port.
Fujitsu hasn’t announced its pricing yet, but the ultrabook should start shipping this summer. Fujitsu Lifebook Premium ultrabook comes in red and silver colors.
