Fujitsu’s New Lifebook Supposed To Beat Tablets

Fujitsu is not being coy about what it wants for its T580 Lifebook Tablet PC. Calling it a “slate-beater”, Fujitsu seems to have parlayed their skill in making tablets into making convertibles – the middle line between slates and netbooks. The T580 is probably their smallest product yet. You can choose your processor for this baby, up to the Intel i5, and it comes pre-loaded with Windows 7.
Other notable features are optional 3G, along with an integrated GPS system. The screen is also multi-touch capable, with a capacity of four points of contact, double Wacom’s limit. The great design is also a plus – it’s looking to be tough and pleasing to the eye.
There’s still a lot of other details not mentioned, but expect to hear more about it as the release date nears. The T580 is supposed to hit the stores in October this year.
