TG Daily reported that the upcoming Windows 7 OS for netbooks will after all have most of the  features of the regular Windows 7 OS. This is in contrast to earlier reports that Microsoft will be offering the netbook-geared Windows 7 with trimmed down features. What is not clear though is what exactly these “most features” will be.

Since the slimmest version of Windows 7 will be the Starter Edition, it would be safe to say that the netbook version will most likely be similar to this if not the same but only rebranded for netbooks. So if this is the case, then we will have a Windows 7 running on netbooks without the AeroGlass interface and no facility to change the default wallpaper.

The good news is that Microsoft recently announced that it will not limit the apps running on Windows 7 to three. So, that gives us hope for more apps then.
